ABOUT SCENIC ROUTE

Hello! I'm a mostly self-taught landscape and nature photographer. I'm based out of central Ohio capturing the beauty of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the Great Lakes with aspirations to travel often and farther.

I grew up with a camera in hand on and off for years, encouraged by my mom. After college, I started hiking in Oklahoma and Arkansas and started taking my camera along with me and working on creating the best images I could. A few years later, I left that area for new opportunities.

Nowadays, you'll find me chasing that perfect light, following the sound of falling water, trekking through the forests, paddling rivers, finding treasure on the shores of the Great Lakes, and generally taking the scenic route through life.
