When at a workshop focusing on night sky, about the last thing I expected to be doin was standing among some of the last sunflower blooms of the season on a windy, sunny afternoon. But, it sure beat a few more hours in a conference room.
The wind and high noon soon made for a challenge, but while focusing on a flower I noticed a little sun flare between the petals. So here's the least expected series I thought I would have to share this fall.
