Nothing Gold Can Stay

Evenings get cooler, nights get longer, and the heat breaks suddenly. Nature's most fleeting season of color begins- the brightness that precedes the winter months. This year, the camera is always with me even without the usual road and camping trips - this year the season is consumed with home renovation and moving! But check out that sunset from the front yard of our new home! 2020 has had it's highs and lows - but it will almost certainly not be forgotten!

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.
